COME ONE - COME ALL

Plumas Lake Women's Golf Club would like to invite you to join us in one or all four of our Guest Day's this year. For just $16.00 you will receive a full breakfast and lunch and the additional cost of golf will be $25.00 for both golf and cart. The cost of the sweeps is $2.00. Cash only please. This year in honor of our dear friend, Charlene Oakman, the closest to the pin on the 7th hole will be called “Charlene’s Putt” and instead of counting the closest to the pin, the winner will be the one furthest from the pin but still on the green. Hopefully you’ll enjoy this “slight difference”.

Our first Guest Day will be on April 30th and the game will be a Shamble. All players tee off. Choose the best shot off the tee. From that spot play individual stroke play until each person has holed out. Subtract whole handicap from your total score. Three drives will be used for each player. Score 2 best balls of the foursome. This will be a 9:00 Shotgun.

June 25th will be Lucky Stroke. Each player is assigned a number on the scorecard (1-2-3 or 4). Each foursome will be provided a sheet that has pre-determined number assignments for each of the 18 holes. After playing the # 1 hole (DO NOT REMOVE STICKERS UNTIL HOLE HAS BEEN PLAYED), the sticker will be removed to reveal whose net score will be used on that hole. This format will continue for all 18 holes. Two holes will be selected as wild, allowing the team to choose the best net score of the foursome. Only one net ball from the foursome will be used on each hole. Lowest overall net score wins. This will be an 8:30 Shotgun.

The practice round for our Invitational with be the third Guest Day. It will be held on August 27th and will be a two net best ball in which you will score two best balls of the foursome. This will be an 8:30 Shotgun.

Our final Guest Day for 2013 will be held on October 29th. The game is Orange & Black Flag. Pick your Orange and Black teams before teeing off, 2 on each team. Look for a small flag around the green. If the flag is Orange, use the net better ball of the Orange team; if the flag is Black, use the net better ball of the Black team. Use only one ball per hole. This will be a 9:00 Shotgun.
