Interagency Service Highlights:

INSTRUCTIONS for Tabletop Learning Activity FACILITATOR

Note: Anyone at the table can facilitate this activity.

REQUIRED MATERIALS:

1.  Interagency INFO HUNT – To Be Completed as a Table/Group (3 pages; one copy per table)

2.  Interagency INFO HUNT – Individual Reference Copy (One double-sided page; Individual Copies included in each individual participant’s Training Folder)

3.  Interagency Service Highlights Packet (4 double-sided pages each; Individual Copies included in each individual participant’s Training Folder)

4.  OVR Brochure: Rehabilitation Services Handbook (Individual Copies included in each individual participant’s Training Folder)

5.  Special Education: Secondary Transition Effective Practices Outline of Assessments and Activities (Individual Copies included in each individual participant’s Training Folder)

6.  ANSWER KEY (DO NOT LOOK AT IT YET).

FACILITATOR INSTRUCTIONS:

1.  Do NOT look at the ANSWER KEY until your table has completed the activity – or your table REALLY gets stuck.

2.  Use the COLOR COPY of the Interagency INFO HUNT – To Be Completed as a Table/Group to complete as a group.

3.  Ask for a volunteer(s) to write on the COLOR COPY of the Interagency INFO HUNT – To Be Completed as a Table/Group.

4.  Each individual also has a black and white version for reference in their Participant Training Folder. Each individual may keep their own copy.

5.  Working together as a group, complete the Interagency INFO HUNT using the information in each individual Interagency Service Highlights Packet.

6.  Use the hints and color coding to help you figure out the answers.

7.  When your table agrees that the activity is complete and accurate to the best of your ability, compare your answers to the ANSWER KEY provided.

8.  With any time remaining, use the Discussion Questions provided to deepen understanding, if on-topic discussion does not occur naturally.

9.  Keep a copy of the Interagency INFO HUNT ANSWER KEY out on the table for reference later today.

10.  Each individual should retain their own copy of the Interagency Service Highlights Packet, Interagency INFO HUNT – Individual Reference Copy, the OVR Brochure: Rehabilitation Services Handbook, and the Special Education: Secondary Transition Effective Practices Outline of Assessments and Activities.

11.  When time is up, leave the remaining Tabletop Learning materials in the folder.
