2017 -2018 Grade 2 Supply List

●  1 box of yellow pencils – please no special ones as these are shared with everyone. Also, it would be helpful if they were sharpened.

●  3 boxes of tissues

●  2 packages of baby wipes

●  1 box of large and 2 small Ziploc baggies

●  2 packages of pencil tip erasers (non-scented please)

●  1 wooden ruler with inch and cm

●  ***3 marble composition books – 100 sheets

●  ***2 2-pocket folders (plastic - 1 red, 1 green)

●  3 boxes of crayons (24 count)

●  3 boxes of washable markers (8 count)

●  6 white board markers - BLACK ONLY

●  1 black sock to use as an eraser on the white board

●  ***1 pair of scissors

●  12 white glue sticks (no purple or blue ones please)

●  1 pencil box- Please send in a shoe box /plastic tote for all supplies

●  2 plain white T – shirts do not label. (both need to fit in May and June)

●  2 containers of Clorox Wipes

●  2boxes of Band aids – 1 large, l small

●  1 bottle of Elmer’s glue

●  Math flash cards - addition and subtraction - If you buy these early they can be practiced over the summer.

Please label only the 2 items with the *** three stars please. As a class we will share all supplies so no names are necessary.

As an additional note, some of the above supplies may need to be replenished during the year.

Also please make sure that your child follows the dress code. It makes our job much easier (Shoes, Belts, shirts tucked in for boys) as we will enforce the dress code starting on day one.

Grades K - 5 Uniform Information

Boys’ Uniforms (excluding Gym)

●  Solid navy blue pants (solid navy shorts may be worn from the beginning of school until October 1, and from May 1 until the end of school).

●  Light blue pique knit shirt (embroidered with school logo).

●  Solid navy blue sweater V-neck cardigan, V-neck pullover, V-neck vest, or navy micro-fleece sweater

●  No sweatshirts are allowed.

Shoes:

●  Dark shoes (not athletic looking)

●  No sneakers for Grades 1-5 except on gym days.

●  Navy blue or black socks

Girls’ Uniforms (excluding Gym)

●  Plaid skort

●  White pique knit shirt, (embroidered with school logo)

●  Solid navy blue crew neck cardigan, V-neck pullover, V-neck vest, or micro-fleece sweater.

●  Solid navy pants, which may be worn instead of the skort from October 1 to May 1. (The uniform knit shirt and sweater must be worn with pants.)

Shoes:

●  Dark leather shoes

●  Sandals, wedge or high heels, crocs, athletic looking shoes or sneakers are not allowed (Sneakers are allowed on gym days)

●  Navy blue knee socks, navy blue ankle socks, or navy blue tights.

Boys’ and Girls’ Uniforms

●  Navy Sweatshirt with the school logo

●  Navy blue sweatpants with the school logo

●  Navy t-shirt with the school logo

●  Sneakers / socks that are blue or black

●  Navy blue gym uniform shorts are permitted in warm weather

●  SCS t-shirts, basketball t-shirts or any other kind of t-shirts are not allowed. Navy blue shorts (not cargo shorts) are allowed only from the first day of school until October 1 and then from May 1 to the last day of school such shorts should have no white stripes or other designs. They must be worn no more than 2 inches above the knees, and must not be made of spandex or nylon.

●  Gym shorts, sweatpants, and sweatshirts must have either the school logo or the school name on them.

●  Gym uniforms must be worn in a neat and tidy fashion—not ripped, torn, or cut off.
