MOUNT ALOYSIUS COLLEGE DUAL ENROLLMENT INFORMATION:
- The dual enrollment program allows high school students to earn college credits while taking approved courses in high school. The following courses are approved for dual enrollment through Mount Aloysius College:
BL 201 – Anatomy & Physiology – 4 credits
CH 101 – Chemistry – 4 credits
CM 117 – Calculus – 4 credits
CM 220 – Introduction to Statistics – 3 credits
- The deadline to return Mount Aloysius College dual enrollment applications to your high school guidance office is September 23, 2016. This deadline has been established by Mount Aloysius College and is non-negotiable. LATE APPLICATIONS CANNOT BE ACCEPTED.
- You must be a JUNIOR or SENIOR to register for a dual enrollment course(s) through Mount Aloysius College. Sophomores are not eligible. To earn college credit the student must register and pay for the course(s) by the deadline, earn at least a 78% average or better in the course(s), maintain a 3.0 GPA in the subject area of study, and attend school regularly. Once the course is completed, a transcript may be obtained through the Registrar’s Office at Mount Aloysius College.
- The cost is $55.00 per credit. There is no registration fee. Payment must be submitted at the time of registration along with your application to the guidance office. Payment may be made either by check, or money order, (payable to Mount Aloysius College)or by credit card.
- Credits earned through our dual enrollment program have transferred to many colleges and universities. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR DETERMINING IF THE COLLEGE OR UNIVERSITY IN WHICH YOU ARE INTERESTED IN ATTENDING ACCEPTS THE DUAL ENROLLMENT CREDITS. The best way to do this is to contact the admissions office of the school you are interested in attending.
