PRODUCT OVERVIEW
The Avaya 500 VA rackmount UPS is the ideal backup power solution for small-to-medium size businesses and branch offices. Designed to prevent poor quality power from bringing your customer’s business down, this cost-effective Avaya UPS continually regulates incoming voltage problems and delivers battery backup when the power goes out. The slim design and wide range of installation possibilities also make it an extremely versatile UPS.

LanSafe Software
Each Avaya UPS ships with a CD containing LanSafe software, which delivers comprehensive support including graceful, remote shutdown of UPS units and network monitoring tools. LanSafe supports all major operating systems.

OPTIONS
Web/SNMP Card
The Web/SNMP Card enables you to monitor and control remote UPSs from web browsers or industry standard network management systems. The Web/SNMP Card inserts into the slot on the back of your Avaya UPS, supports real-time web and SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol) communication over 10/100BaseT Ethernet connections, and serves as a power-protected switching hub to support three additional 10/100BaseT links.
Power Distribution Unit (PDU)
If your Avaya UPS does not have enough output receptacles for all of the equipment that you want to protect, you can use the rackmount PDU for (10) 5-15R additional outlets. You can also use the PDU on its own without connecting to a UPS for simple power distribution. The PDU plugs into one of the UPS rear panel output receptacles:
