Eligibility Criteria for PhD admission
•For Ph.D. Minimum qualification of M.Sc.(Hons)/M.Phil. degree (18-years of education) in the field of Biotechnology, Natural Sciences (Biology, Botany, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Zoology)/Agricultural Sciences/Veterinary/ Environmental Sciences or Bioinformatics with minimum CGPA 3.0 out of 4 from HEC recognized university.
•Preferably first class academic career, however one second division is allowed except in the final degree.
•In-service candidates may apply through proper channel.
•Subject GRE/GAT-Subject test is mandatory for Ph.D. admission, as per HEC requirements(Students waiting for GAT-Subject result announced on 15th August can also apply).
•PhD candidates can apply at any time after qualifying subject test.
•Result awaited students can also apply but they have to provide result at the time of interview.
•Selected candidates will be required to submit university original character and migration certificates.
•A non-refundable bank draft/pay order of Rs.2750/- in the name of NIBGE should accompany the application form at the time of interview on 10th August, 2017.
Application Procedure
•Submit duly filled admission form (can be downloaded from accompanied with attested copies of the certificates of qualification, domicile, character certificate, detailed marks certificate, three passport size photographs and no objection certificate from the employer in case of in-service candidates. Incomplete application form may cause delay in admission or termination of candidature.
•The candidates are directed to bring their original NIC, academic certificates, domicile, thesis/research report and a copy of publication(s) at the time of interview.
