Report Title:Safety Assessment Trend
Report Purpose:This report provides Data Warehouse users with an aggregated view of how successful a Local Department of Social Services has been over time in approving initial Safety Assessments within seven days of the Intake Start Date. Information for this report is recorded when the stage is closed.
Many LDSS staff have requested a summary report showing the timeliness of 7-Day Safety Assessments (referred to as Safety Evaluations before Build 16). This report gives aggregated information on 7-Day Safety Assessments approved during a calendar month in an LDSS where the approval occurred on time (within seven days) or was overdue (more than seven days) in relation to the CPS report’s Intake Start Date. These data are intended to help LDSS’s to gauge the impact of measures designed to improve performance in this area.
Prompts:The Organization Level prompt requires the user to select the level at which the report is desired. Options are:
Agency: for a single Local Department of Social Services. You must use the agency prompt to select the LDSS.
New York City: for New York City ACS. This level is also described as “Downstate”
Statewide: for the entire state of New York
Upstate: for all LDSS’s except New York City ACS. This level is also described as “Rest of State.”
The agency prompt requires the user to select the Local Department of Social Services for which the report will be run using a pull-down list. The prompt will only work if you have selected “Agency” in the Organization Level prompt.
This report uses the CPS Build 16 Safety Assessment Catalog. Users can customize this report and save a copy locally for future use. Data is refreshed MONTHLY and is available up to the most recently completed calendar month.
