Dear Prospective LFMC Missions Team Member,

Thank you for your interest in going on a short-term missions trip to Haiti with Lawrence Free Methodist Church. LFMC has partnered with Kids Alive International for many years to support children in Latin America and has been serving in Cap Haitian, Haiti since 2012. Each year LFMC sends one to three teams to Haiti to build homes and a school for children, provide medical care, or work directly with children in the Kids Alive ministry.

LFMC attenders have also provided many school supplies, clothes, soccer uniforms, medicine and money to complete one of the homes in the Kid Alive complex. Dozens of LFMC attenders sponsor children and those who go on a trip are able to meet the child they sponsor.

A week in Haiti will change your life. You'll get to see how God is providing hope and joy in the most impoverished place in the Western Hemisphere. You'll meet adults and children whose hope is deeply rooted in Christ. You'll hear how He has miraculously provided for the physical and spiritual needs of people. And, in just a few short days, God will speak to you. He'll show you what matters to Him and your life will never be the same.
