1.Needed a bit more practical details, e.g., with each principle use example of application.

11.Wish we had a screening process for work visas and tourist visas (they’re at high risk especially in a school setting). Important to provide education and training for staff, follow-up on all actives, report them to State, assure adequate treatment, and do contact investigation.

4.What do you recommend to improve the course?

COMMENTS:

Participant

Number

1.Include more cases or examples at the end of each lecture. Particularly with the lectures that are more skill-based, with practical applications (e.g., sample application and reading of PPD). Also, more international aspects of disease, multidrug resistance, treatment, screening, policy and programs (several people in course working with immigrants of overseas).

2.Case discussions very valuable. If possible, increase allotted time. Keep it practical.

3.Great!

10.I think we need more time.

11.More case studies.

12.More case studies please because they seem more realistic to practice especially if they’re real cases.

15.More radiology.

5.Please feel free to express any criticism or comments regarding the course.

1.Best course that I have attended since medical school. Place radiology and TST earlier in course. More discussion of cultural aspects of compliance.

2.None–great course!

7.This is the best CME course I have been involved with in my entire career. This had great basic science and great clinical cases.

11.Due to the fact that some participants are doctors and some are already working with TB cases, it was hard for me to follow along. Thanks goodness for the handouts.

14.Wonderful clinical experience.

15.This entire course (and it’s logistics) was superlative. I’ll suggest strongly that my colleagues come here. Thanks very much for your wonderful efforts.
