9.  / Purpose of Services / Experienced Business Analysts to:
·  Engage with stakeholders across the department, such as relevant business areas, IT development and support teams and others;
·  Undertake business analysis tasks such as organising and conducting stakeholder workshops, collecting user requirements.
·  Scope, cost and document business high level requirements
·  Methodically investigate, analyse, review and document business processes and specifications.
·  Contribute to business process modelling.
·  Analyse and document detailed business requirements in the form of systems specifications
·  Liaise with business to resolve system issues
Liaise with development team to implement required system development

1. Demonstrated experience as a business analyst within an application development environment, with preference to those with no less than 5 years in analysing complex business processes within an agile framework such as Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) or equivalent.
2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to liaise and negotiate with business and technical personnel.
3. Well-developed documentation skills for writing clear concise business requirements including features and user stories
4. Sound and effective organisational skills, including the ability to manage changes to business requirements and priorities and work within tight timeframes.
5. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a team to achieve outcomes and meet deadlines.
6. Hands-on experience with EA, Visio and Agile tools.
Desirable Criteria
6. Demonstrated knowledge and experience of Department of Employment Programmes, the Employment Services System (ESS) and/or related Department of Human Services IT systems.
7. Experience in producing Business Process Models and using BPM software.

Limitation of liability – cap / For SMEs, the Department will consider a liability cap at either:
$ 5 million per occurrence, or
$ 10 million in the aggregate
For non-SMEs, the Department will consider a liability cap at either:
$ 10 million per occurrence, or
$ 20 million in the aggregate

Security Clearance Requirements
The minimum security clearance level for this particular position is: Police Check Only
All positions are “Trusted” and the successful candidate is required to undertake police check to be conducted by the department. Unfavourable outcome may result to early termination of the contract. This check will be arranged by the Shared Services Centre on commencement of the contractor. The Australian Government will meet the cost of police check.
