(3) We will inquire if IBM people might be interested in participating in our GCEPG/GUS projects (see References (i) and (j) above).
We plan to construct Globally Distributed Socio-Economic-Environmental Simulation System — see Figure 8 of Reference (i) above. This system is to have simulation models of various countries which will be located in each of them and interconnected together to act as if a single global scale super computer with massive parallel processing — see Reference (k) for its development.
We initially planned to use Beowulf mini supercomputer at each location which are to be interconnected each other via broadband Internet, but if we could use Cloud Computing, things might be much easier.
Subsequently, at our mtg, we would;

(a) describe our projects to IBM people,
(b) hear the possible application of Cloud Computing to our project,
(c) hear of IBM peoples’ interest participating in our project.

(4) Although rather technical, I would greatly appreciate it if you can kindly attend this mtg, as describing your, Simone’s and Peter’s projects (Reference (f) above). It may be possible to collaboratively use IBM’s Cloud Computing system for simulation model building and videoconferencings, etc., by the teams members of Simone’s project from Lebanon, Univ. of Milan, Millennium Institute (MI) in Washington, DC, Polytechnic Institute (PI) of NYU in Brooklyn, and of Peter’s project from Nigeria, MI and PI, etc.

(5) I will talk with you about the logistic of travel more later, but;

(a) DC people (Hans, Amit) may fly to White Plain County Airport, if possible,
(b) NYC people (Harold, Carl, Josie and me) may take train from Grand Central at 1:55 pm to North White Plain,
(c) Yuzo, you may drive from your home directly — or you may come to North White Plain train station at 2:43 pm to pick us up.
