Orange County Tres Dias
Secretariat Meeting – October 6, 2017
Attendance: Sheila Checkley, Ken Hays, Brian Aleman, Donn Pierson, Jim Trebilcox, Paul Wright, Mike Shellman, Trish Carter-Anderson, and Eddie Mouawad
Opening Prayer: Jim Trebilcox led the opening prayer. Jim reminded us that we often take for granted what we think God wants us to do for his service.
Communion: Jim reminded us that communion is affirming what we believe.
Minutes of Past Meeting: Minutes were reviewed via email. Brian motioned to approve the minutes, Shelia second, they passed.
Treasurer’s Report: Paul reported no major changes took place. Paul asked a few questions, as he is new to this position.
Clergy Report: Jim went home sick.
OCTD 41/42 Status and Discussions:
OCTD 42: Ken reported for Zana. Zana has a scripture and artwork. She has been sending out emails and contacting people.
OCTD 41: Don reported he has a few key positions filled. Don has meet with the selection committee and has a plan.
Ken reported that three team meeting will be at Red Hill and the last meeting will be held at Salvation Army Santa Ana.
Old Business:
● Sheila has drafted the procedures that take place when an application is received. These were passed out for people to review. These will be discussed at our next meeting.
● Information night will be October 21, 2017 at Salvation Army, Tustin Ranch and it was discussed how to encourage couples and singles to attend.
● Web Page: Bill Bailey and Kathy Wood met to discuss.
New Business:
● Victoria Owens planning to move out of the area and the community will be looking for a new historian. Anyone interested in being the new historian, please contact Ken
Adjournment:
Eddie made a motion to adjourn the meeting, Mike seconded the motion and all approved.
