POST TITLE: Web Developer / Knowledge Exchange Intern

JOB PURPOSE:
To improve internal efficiency to enable Simpson Group to offer a bespoke design service for customers.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Develop the company’s store profiling system to support customers to hold personalised information in a central database.
2. To develop and maintain the print distributor system which allows excel spreadsheets to be uploaded to the system.
3. To develop a system must allow customers to download an excel/csv template and fill it with relevant data and upload the spreadsheet to create a series of print ready PDF documents based on a template.
4. Working with a number of teams within the process workflow to identify emerging requirements for the management information system and determine their IT capabilities and software.
5. Any other reasonable duties that may be allocated from time to time commensurate with the grading of the post.
6. To liaise closely with the University staff associated with the project.
7. Participate in the development of the Company’s purpose, vision and values and in line with agreed operating policies.
8. To ensure all of our customers both internal and external receive an exceptional level of quality and service in all dealings with us.
