Present position:
o Manning the post of Secretary-cum-Scientific Director, (equivalent to Joint Secretary to the Government of India.), Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of India since 1st January, 2009 in the pay scale of Rs. 37400 – 67000 + Grade Pay Rs. 10,000/-
Regulatory Experience:
o Worked as a Government Analyst from 2004 to 2008 at Central Indian Pharmacopoeia Laboratory (CIPL), Ghaziabad and discharged the responsibilities in accordance with the provisions of the Drugs & Cosmetics Act, 1940 and Rules framed there under.
o Performed the duties and functions of Director CIPL, Ghaziabad on from 2002 – 2008. (In pre-revised pay scale of Rs. 14000 – 18000)- appointed as per the recommendation of Union Public Services Commission.
o Having over 22 years of experience in Scientific, Regulatory Affairs, Administrative and Financial matters in Public Sector undertaking mainly in the areas of Formulation Development, Manufacturing, Quality Control and Quality Assurance of Drugs and Pharmaceuticals.
