Following the promotion of the current headteacher an exciting opportunity has arisen at Pierrepont Gamston Primary just as we are expanding to a 1.5 form entry school. We are looking to appoint an inspirational headteacher to lead this high achieving VA school through its next stage of development. The governors are seeking an individual who has the passion, drive and vision to promote and develop the Christian ethos of the school whist working closely with the governing body and community to take this thriving school forward.
The school was last inspected in June 2012 and was judged to be a good school. This is an opportunity to build on our current recognised success, keep us firmly at the heart of our community and to progress our provision even further.
Our building programme, which is due to be completed by September 2014, will enable us to provide 15 extra Reception places, for the next seven years, which are needed for the ever increasing numbers of pupils who apply for a place at this very popular school.

· Someone with a demonstrable track record of successful school leadership and management.
· A person with the commitment, ability and interpersonal skills to develop strong working relationships with staff, pupils, families and extended partners.
