Rick Goshorn, President / Selby Lucero and Joe Szalczinger were the only candidates for the VP/Secretary and Project Director positions respectively. By consent the two were selected to serve a two year term.

SECA Administrator / Ridership:
n  SECA is at 310 riders, down 8 from 2016.
Routes:
n  Currently at 29 routes, down 3 from 2016.
n  Additional route slated to close on June 1 from Taos to National Guard.
n  Plus one spare van housed at Car-ER.
Current Ownership:
n  Sold 2 full-size vans in the last 12 months.
n  Own 4 – 1 passenger vans and 1 mini-van.
n  Mileage on owned vans is 150k to 210k.
Other Changes:
n  Updated entire website and moved to a new server.
n  Started replacing leased vans with 2015/2016 Ford Trailblazers.
o  Riders report a better ride, however seating size is terrible.
o  Fuel lines cannot be cut.
o  Fuel cap is behind the door – concealed.
o  Replacement keys are $80 each.

o  Walter will no longer provide them, so we would have to purchase if we wish to continue to provide mini-vans.

o  Our 2009 mini-van has over 200k. Hope to continue to use it until March 2018 when Certificate of Deposit (CD) is available to replace.
n  2021
o  Twelve (12) 15 passenger vans leased from Walter will be up. Walter will see business before then.
o  Mike Shepherd will retire from LANL – January 2021
§  Undecided if Mike will continue to be Administrator.
