Budget:

  • After School Tutoring: minimum of 8 students/teacher
  • 3rd-5th: 8-one hour sessions
  • 3rd update:total of 8 teachers once per week.
  • 4th update: 7 teachers two hours per week.
  • 5th update:8 teachers two hours per week.
  • 1st-2nd: 8-one hour sessions
  • 1st update:5 teachers once per week
  • 2nd update:4 teachers two hours per week

Staffing:

  • PK Bilingual Vacancy : Recommendation made and teacher will begin the first week of December. Ms. Estrada will transfer from a long term substitute to a TIA, the week after the new teacher begins.

School Organization:

  • National Center for Urban School Transformation Award (visit rescheduled for 02/14/2014): One teacher per grade level will be videotaped to submit for the NCUST application.
  • Fall Festival – Friday, November 1st
  • Thanksgiving Luncheons: (see flyer for details) $5 –cost of plate: recommendation to have two serving lines and two drink stations.
  • Nov 19th – PK AM and PM
  • Nov 20th – Kindergarten

  • Students should each have their grade-equivalent score and their corresponding ZPD (zone of proximal development).
