ELECTRICIAN (PUMP STATIONS)

REQUIREMENTS
-N2 Electrical or equivalent
-Completed apprenticeship and passed trade test as an Electrician with at least five years practical experience of which 1 year in electrical distribution networks
-Knowledge of electric starters, motor and telemetry experience
-Computer Literacy
-Code EB Driver’s License
-Proficient in at least two of three official languages of the Western Cape
-Ability to read technical drawings
-Must be able to work in confined spaces
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
-Installation, testing, maintenance and commissioning of motors and control gear.
-Installation and maintenance of Programmable Logic Controllers at pump stations.
-Installation and maintenance of Ultra Sonic Level Controllers
-Installation and maintenance of metering/measuring devices.
-Fault finding and repairs on Traffic Signals and Controllers
-Installation and maintenance onTelemetry equipment.
-Maintenance on generators
SALARY SCALE:R175930.68 – R228358.56per annum (T10)

ALGEMEEN:
