MONUMENTAL INSCRIPTIONS OF ST LAWRENCE’S CHURCHYARD – BARDNEY
(FULL Version 2: 01-08-2010)
Since this list was compiled, in 1992, by the Reverend Stewart Green, cremated remains are still being lodged in St Lawrence’s Churchyard, on the north side of the church. This means that the list needs to be reviewed periodically.
To offset this, the cremated remains have now been placed on a new list, which can be up-dated over time.
As no more interments are allowed in the churchyard, this list will now become the definitive list for St Lawrence’s churchyard.
This document includes:
1) A plan of the churchyard
2) An alphabetical list
3) A FULL account of 426 Monumental Inscriptions
