Small Works Roster Registration

Per RCW 39.04.155 the Skagit Conservation District (SCD) has a Small Works Contractor Roster for conservation public works projects. In general, SCD will follow the small works roster policies and procedures for local government established by the Municipal Research and Services Center, except as stipulated in SCD’s Small Works Roster Resolution adopted on December 15, 2009 and any subsequent related resolutions.

Registrations from qualified contractors for the Small Works Contractor Roster are accepted on a continuing basis. Contracting services are for conservation public works projects, which may include road building, planting, riparian projects, etc. and are estimated to cost less than $100,000. There is no fee for registering. The existence of the roster will be published once a year in a local newspaper. Contractors already on the roster will need to update their information yearly. Forms may be mailed, faxed, or emailed.

Minimum Qualifications: Contractors must have a WA state contractor’s license and liability insurance. Prevailing wages, bonding insurance, and other licenses may be required dependent upon project requirements. Contractors who have been disbarred or suspended by the state of Washington may not register for the SCD’s small works roster.
