NOTE: Classes may be combined, divided or cancelled upon manager’s decision.2014 Tests used when applicable • Riders may ride more than once in each class. Be sure to indicate which test you will be riding for the Test of Choice classes. If you do not indicate a test, we will put you in Test 3.
Prizes: 1-5 place ribbons awarded in each class. Award to first w/ 3 or more.
Warm Up and Schooling: We provide an indoor arena for warm-up in addition to our spacious outdoor rings. Lunging is permitted in designated outdoor lunging areas. The night before the indoor competition ring is only open after 5:00 due to tent in the competition arena prior to competition.

Ride times will be posted on our website by Wednesday pm at Concessions are available on the show grounds.

Schooling only: If you just want to bring a horse to school, you will need to pay for a day stall ($25.00) and a schooling fee of $35.00 for dressage only. Jumping horses see class list for schooling options. Horses must wear their number and abide by the rules. Any dangerous horse may be asked to leave.

*No refund on entry fees or stabling without a vet or physicians certificate. The only exception would be if the weather forces cancellation or shut down of show. Cancellation of entries BEFORE the closing date may be rolled over to next show, less office fee.

  1. A signed copy of this Rules Form must be turned in prior to your first class.
  2. Anyone under 18 years of age must wear an ASTM/SEI-approved equestrian safety helmet.
  3. This is a schooling show, please feel free to use any equipment or wear any attire. All participants must wear boot with at least 1” heels. No shorts please.
  4. No refund on entry fees paid without vet or physician certificate.
  5. Participants must pay for all classes in full prior to the start of the show, or leave blank check with the show secretary.
  6. The judges’ decisions are final. If a judge or staff member decides that an animal is not fit to show, that decision will be final as well.
  7. The following may be grounds for disqualification and expulsion w/o a refund:
Unsportsmanlike conduct or behavior toward horses or humans, Use of severe bits or training devices, Unruly or out-of-control horses, Mistreatment of any horse, as determined by show staff or judges, Exhibiting a horse that is exhausted, injured or lame
  1. Any disputes or problems during the show should be brought to the attention of the show manager at the registration booth. Donida Farm boarders have the right to use the warm-up areas.
/ All horses that kick are required to have a RED ribbon attached to the tail that is clearly visible at ALL times. You will not be marked down in any class for this.
  1. Horses should not be tied to any arena fence, stall , or any place that would constitute a hazard. Horses may not be tied to trailers or left unattended.
  2. Park horse trailers in designated trailer parking area only.
  3. Spectator parking in designated area only.
  4. Keep fire lanes open at all times.
  5. No horses allowed onto facility without being stalled and release signed.
  6. No dogs allowed on the show grounds
  7. Please lunge in designated areas only.
  8. Use manure wagons to dispose of stall manure only.
  9. In-barn wash-racks for boarder residents only. Public rack outside “C” barn. “D” barn and “E” barn
  10. Pick up garbage and place in or next to dumpster or cans.
  11. No stall construction changes allowed. Any damage to stalls will incur a fee.
  12. No nails in stall. Tack stalls will be charged $ 20.00 for nails.
  13. No riding on racetrack unless authorized by Gwen

Release of Liability — Loss and injury.Donida Farm, members of the show committee, staff and their associates will not be responsible for any loss or damage or injury to horses exhibited or for any article of any kind that may be lost or destroyed in any way injured. Each exhibitor will be responsible for any injury that may be associated with any person whom so ever by any horses owned by, exhibited by, or handled by him and shall indemnify the afore mentioned individuals and organizations against all claims and demands of any kinds or nature that may grow out of and injury associated by any horses owned or exhibited by him or arise from the negligence of the person in charge of any such horse. The owner, driver, handler, and rider, and any other agents or representatives acknowledge that they participate voluntarily in the competition fully aware that horse sports and the competition involve inherent dangerous risk, and that by participating they expressly assume any risks of injury and loss, and they agree to hold the competition and its officials, directors, employees, or agents. All horses exhibited will be at the owners/lessee’s risk. or for any article of any kind that may be lost or destroyed in any way injured.
