Transplant Program Evaluation Worksheet
Key Outcome Indicators
Transplant Type: Intestine
Tips and ideas about choosing a transplant program.
Choosing a transplant center, or more specifically a transplant program, is perhaps one of the most important decisions you may ever make. Our suggestion is to review key transplant outcome indicators and ask a lot of questions! INTERLINK’s Quality Assurance Program has recommended standards our participating centers must meet to be a credentialed center, and we have provided some of those standards to aide in your evaluation. This Key Outcomes Indicator Worksheet compares and contrasts the surgical histories and outcomes of transplant programs you are likely considering. As is common with most skilled professions and trades, experience is an important consideration.
Some of the information provided was gathered from Facility Fact Sheets that are also included in your Candidate Education Booklet. If you would like to review information for centers not quality monitored by INTERLINK, follow the links below and/or contact the transplant center’s transplant coordinator for their outcome information.
