BDO Consulting is looking for someone with 5 to 9+ years of relevant experience with a national management consulting firm, restructuring firm, investment bank, large accounting firm, or similar financial institution

QUALIFICATIONS

5 to 9+ years of relevant experience with a national management consulting firm, restructuring firm, investment bank, large accounting firm, or similar financial institution
' Strong expertise with cash receipts and disbursements modeling/forecasting, complex financial statement modeling/forecasting, valuations, and due diligence processes
' Exposure to operational and/or financial restructurings in mid to large-size distressed businesses
' Workout or turnaround experience; experience in debtor and/or creditor consulting or advisory services
' Familiarity with valuations and capital markets
' Strong understanding of/exposure to bankruptcy proceedings
' Exposure to processes relating to sale of or raising financing for a company is preferred
' Ability to lead small teams in delivering high impact projects, with effective and appropriate delegation and coaching
' Strong written communications and oral presentation skills appropriate for C-level audiences
' Able to identify issues and provide insights to help solve complex business problems and develop strategic alternatives

EXPECTATIONS
' Help clients implement solutions to business problems
' Willingness to assist business development activities, including identifying opportunities for expansion of existing cases, identifying stand-alone, new business opportunities
Includes developing relationships with professionals at similar levels, focusing on those that have high likelihood of providing future referrals
' Spend some material amount of time marketing
' Begin to take on speaking engagements; possibly publish
' Attend select conferences and yield results in terms of contributions to new business
' Ability to manage small teams and/or small/medium size cases
' Demonstrate high levels of analytical/technical proficiency and competence, especially in the areas of financial analysis, modeling and financial research
' Prepare logical, creative, high impact reports (in Power-Point, WORD, Excel) analyzing complex analytical problems and leading to solutions/recommendations
' Ability to work in crisis environments
' Deliver consistently high quality work in an accelerated fashion
' Ability to work productively within a team setting
' Ability to understand a client's culture and to interact appropriately with clients
' Pursue learning and personal/professional development opportunities
