Feral Cat Program – Trap, Neuter or Spay, Release

Feral Cat Colony Caregiver Responsibilities:

  1. Shall be in compliance with all sections of Township Ordinance 39-25.1 “Feral Cat Program”
  2. Shall be trained by an Animal Control Provider and provide all training documentation to the Township of Old Bridge Animal Shelter
  3. Notify the Township of Old Bridge Animal Shelter within 48 hours of any changes as to your or any substitute(s) status as a caregiver.
  4. Any substitute caregiver(s) shall also be required to register and be trained.
  5. Maintain digital photos and records for each cat within the Feral Cat Colony.
  6. Vaccinations, Spayed/Neutered, Ear Tipped, illnesses or unusual behavior, etc
  7. Submit semi-annual reports on the status of the colony. The form will be provided by the Township of Old Bridge Animal Shelter.
  8. Understand all costs and expenses associated with maintaining a Feral Cat Colony shall be borne solely by you, the Caregiver. The Township of Old Bridge shall not provide any financial resources or funds to Caregivers who maintain a Feral Cat Colony.
  9. Understand the Township of Old Bridge shall have no liability with regard to the operation and maintenance of any feral cat colony permitted by this section and all Animal Control Providers and Caregivers shall agree to defend and indemnify the Township of Old Bridge.
