CALL FOR PRESENTATIONS

The Committee of QCAL invites expressions of interest for presentations of lectures and workshop presentations for the abovementioned conference. All presentations should address the conference theme.

Closing date: 25 August 2006

Conference audience:

Conference participants may include adult literacy and numeracy teachers and other practitioners, vocational teachers and trainers, volunteer tutors, policy makers and tertiary students studying in the areas of literacy, numeracy and vocational training.

Guidelines

Guide for presentations:

Keynote addresses and lectures and seminars should be of forty minutes’ duration with ten minutes for questions. Workshop presentations should be planned to occupy one and a half hours’ duration.

Publication of conference proceedings:

It is planned to publish all papers tendered prior to the conference into the conference proceedings.

Refereeing:

All abstracts will be refereed.
