BRIEF EXPERIENCE

Over ten years in varied engineering practice involving metals fabrication and construction of Oil & Gas, Power, Chemical and Petrochemical plant with extensive experience in welding and steel fabrication industry for structural, piping, boiler components and process equipments, shutdown works & tie-ins. Familiar with internationally recognized codes and standards (ASME, AWS, API,ANSI, BS, JIS, ISO9000) and able to demonstrate understanding of structural, piping and equipment drawings, project and work procedures and QC inspection documents and procedures, welding details and welding procedures to ensure the fabrication / construction is performed in accordance with project specifications and standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Inspection General oversight of the fabrication / construction activities from a quality and good construction practice, maintaining and verifying implementation of the project quality assurance program/plan at site
  2. Observe and report quality issues/concerns together with notification of contractors proposed actions during resolution of quality issues.
  3. Monitor Project Materials and consumables
  4. Monitor welding, preheat and fit-up practices and verify these activities are performed in accordance with project requirements
  5. Perform visual inspection of welder production work.
  6. Monitor welding cut outs and repairs
  7. Monitor dimensional control activities in the field
  8. Monitor NDT activities
  9. Monitor calibration and operating parameters of welding and NDT equipments
  10. Monitor and witnessing punch listing and line walk down inspections of piping systems
  11. Monitoring and witnessing of hydro and pneumatic test, water flushing activities of piping systems
  12. Monitor and witness of piping system reinstatement as per test package
  13. Monitor the Contractors QC team inspection activities to verify quality control is performed in accordance with project requirements
  14. Coordinate and manage information between Contractors QC inspection team and the Project Team
  15. Documentation
  16. Reviewing and statusing subcontractor or supplier quality document submittals (Quality Plans and Procedures, Inspection and Test Plans)
  17. Review and comment on documents generated
  18. Reviews the preparation, qualification of PQR & WPS
  19. Review of Material Certificates, Vendor documents in accordance with project requirements and specifications
