Congratulations, you have successfully read 2 books outside of reading class! During the 2nd marking period, you will begin with reading another Jerry Spinelli selection. Reading another piece written by Jerry Spinelli will give us the opportunity as readers to delve into the author’s life, characters, theme, and writing style.

Important Dates:

·  Monday, November 10th – Explanation of IRP #3 requirements

·  By Monday, November 17th - Book approvals (see list for choices)

·  December 19th – (1)Book read, (2) completed compare and contrast worksheet, (3) completed 3 item connection worksheet to support your book

·  December 22 and December 23- Sharing of books in class.
