b. Cadets should then proceed to the James S. McDonnell USO, located on the lower level of Terminal 1 at Lambert-St. Louis International Airport. The USO is a very robust facility to include offering beds at no cost to the Cadets. Information about facilities at the USO may be found at http://usomissouri.org/airport-facility#.

f. On graduation day, Cadets are released at approximately 1700 hours. To allow for travel time to the airport and check-in, please schedule flights after 2130 hours the day of graduation. We will make one trip from Ft. Leonard Wood to the Lambert-St. Louis International Airport (STL) the day of graduation, after Cadets are released. If Cadets are released early, they should call the LNO at Office #573-341-6808, #573-341-4744, or Cell #816-507-2015. Please note that last year Cadets reported without the items in bold and were not admitted to the classes. We even had one Cadet not admitted because his physical was 19 months old. Additionally, cadre cannot sign a memorandum “attesting that no change to the physical status of the Cadet has occurred since the physical.”

5.  Prerequisites:

a. Cadets should thoroughly read through the Sapper Leader Course Pamphlet to be prepared for the class. The tasks listed in the pamphlet are tested as part of in-processing.
