Maximum grade:12th Mon (green belt)
All entrantsmust hold a valid NIJF/BJA or IJAlicence. Proof of this MUST be shown atregistration/weigh-in with proof of grade (Record book).
NO LICENCE NO CONTEST
Competition Format: / Pools/Pools to Knockout with simple repechage.
There will be one gold, one silver per category. All other competitors in the category will receive a bronze medal.
Weight Categories: / There will be no set weight categories. Pools will be grouped to best match, age, grade and weight wherever possible with maximum group size of 6.
Please have a current weight listed against every player entered – this will enable better groupings of judoka to take place. Also, please ensure weight is as accurate as possible as variations will mean the start of the competition will be delayed due to changes in weights and groups.
Coaches – On the day of the event - please ensure that you inform the Tournament Director before the start of the competition if any of your players are not competing.
Weigh-in: / Weigh-ins will take place at designated clubs on Friday 11thNov. All relevant coaches will be contacted.
There may be spot checks on the morning of competition for each category.
Closing Date: / Wednesday 2nd November 2016– OR earlier if maximum 150 entries has been received
