…for groups of 5:

GROUP LEADER

organizes the group tasks, acts as the point of contact between the group and Mrs. Mancuso

ensures that the group addresses all components and answers every question associated with the assignment and its rubric

ensure you have a backup plan in case your technology fails or someone is absent

SCRIBE

type up and print the “written portion”

type up and print the works cited page

work with the researcher to ensure all questions are answered

RESEARCHER

lead the group through the process of collecting research to answer all questions for the written portion AND the presentation.

ensure the scribe has all the source information needed

ensure the teacher and art director have all the content they need.

TEACHER

learn the VTS strategy from Mrs. Mancuso

lead the planning of the actual presentation of the content (the talking portion)

ensure the team is prepared to lead a VTS discussion with the rest of the class using 1 work of art

test technology with Mrs. Mancuso’s computer/ensure you have a backup plan

ART DIRECTOR

lead the planning and composition of the visual portion of the group presentation (poster, video, or PowerPoint)

compose the plan for your group’s presentation with visual representations of what it will look like

choose the works of art (3-5 works of art to be explained in presentation PLUS 1 work for VTS discussion)
