Fypon Launches New Products at 2014 NAHB International Builders’ Show

MAUMEE, OHIO – Builders and remodelers attending the 2014 NAHB International Builders’ Show will have the chance to see two new products for Fypon --- a Woodgrain Structural Column and a Door Surround Kit. Additional polyurethane and PVC products will also be showcased by Fypon in booth C6113, February 4-6, 2014 in Las Vegas.

"The Fypon booth will feature dozens of durable products for both interior and exterior applications by builders and remodelers," says Niki Decker, manager of product and marketing for Fypon. "Our company celebrates 45 years of creating top-quality trim products in 2014. The products we feature in our booth will be some of the most popular ones over the past several decades in our window and door trim, mouldings, decorative millwork, column and balustrade system categories."

Resistant to rotting, warping, cracking, insects, moisture and peeling, Fypon polyurethane and PVC products are used extensively on both residential and commercial projects. The consistent quality delivered from piece to piece makes it a dependable favorite for building industry professionals.

New Products for 2014

Woodgrain Structural Column - The new 9' tall square structural column from Fypon can be stained to resemble real wood, but come with all the benefits of polyurethane. Designed to be beautiful as well as strong, the column comes with the cap molded in and a loose base, so that it can be cut down for height adjustments.

The Woodgrain Structural Column from Fypon is reinforced and has a load-bearing capacity up to 12,000 pounds. The pre-primed column is ready for paint or stain and installation hardware is included with the column for ease of ordering.*

Door Surround Kit - Fypon is making life easier for builders and remodelers by offering four styles in new Door Surround Kits. The four popular styles being introduced from Fypon in the Door Surround Kit include Craftsman, Colonial, Stone and Empire. Each offering includes a dynamic and fast way for building industry professionals to enhance an entry door of the home with low-maintenance, weather-resistant polyurethane materials.

Packaged together, the kits for Craftsman, Colonial and Empire include a set of pilasters and a crosshead for a single door opening. The Stone kit includes three pieces of flat blocks and a keystone, ready to be cut to size for a single door opening. Blocks can either be mitered or butted to make the surround. Designed to fit a 3'0" x 6'8" door, the polyurethane pieces in the kits install quickly to create an attractive door surround.

"These new products feature all the superior quality and construction that builders and remodelers have come to expect from Fypon during the past 45 years," says Decker. "Whether selecting polyurethane or PVC products, installers get the look and feel of traditional building materials including consistent quality and appearance. Built to last and maintain their original condition for years of service, Fypon products are lightweight and easy for building industry professionals to handle and install."
