Frozen Fruitcake Salad
(for 13X9 dish)
**this was the salad served at our last dinner theater, it was requested by a few. So we decided to share. ENJOY!!
Ingredients:
2 cups dairy sour cream
1 8oz container of whipping topping, thawed
1 cup sugar
4 TBL lemon juice
2 tsp vanilla
1 20oz can crushed pineapple, drained
4 bananas
10 jar of maraschino cherries, diced
In a mixing bowl blend together sour cream, whipped topping, lemon juice, and vanilla. Fold in fruits. Spread in 13X9 pan and place in the freezer for several hours or overnight.

Bakers needed for Grove City Meals on Wheels program. The list of people who are willing to provide baked good items for 2018 will be revised soon. If you are currently on the baking list, Kathy will be in touch with you to see if you wish to continue providing items. If you have not been able to help provide items in the past and wish to now, please get in touch with Kathy to let her know of your availability. Items provided must be to the church by 10 am on Fridays, they should be items that can be frozen (as what we provide on a Friday will be used the following week) and in non-returnable containers. SS BREAKFAST - Please plan to join together for breakfast and fellowship at 9 a.m., Sunday, January 7th. A signup sheet will be posted if you are able to bring a breakfast casserole, sweet rolls, juice, etc.
CAROLING TO OUR SHUT-INS – Following worship on December 17th, we will have a light lunch, provided by our Deacons. Following lunch, we will divide into groups and travel to our local nursing homes and personal homes of our shut-ins. Please plan to join us.
The Leesburg Lighthouse has just completed 53 productions, spanning 30 years with 41 different scripts. Thank you to all who have participated in this wonderful community outreach that has funded many local, national, and international missions.

Samaritan Shoeboxes. They were delivered to our drop off location by our Jr. CE youth & leaders following a lunch on Sunday, November 19th.

The WILSON family will host the Junior and Senior CE members for a Christmas celebration on Friday, December 29th at 6:00 p.m.
Junior CE will host a soup luncheon on Sunday, January 14th following worship by donation. There will be lots of good soups and bread to enjoy. Please plan to stay and support the youth of our church, enjoy some time of fellowship, and nourish your body with good food.
