Women in the Pet Industry Network Welcomes Stephanie Syberg, Owner of Tulane’s Closet

St. Peters, Missouri, June 16th, 2014 – Women in the Pet Industry Network (WIPIN), a leading organization focused on women entrepreneurs in the ever-growing pet industry, welcomes Stephanie Syberg to its membership. Stephanie Syberg is the owner ofhttp://www.tulanescloset.com/ , in St. Peters, which has developed a patent to give pets and the owners that love them an alternative to the old fashion e-collar. We give pets a chance to not only heal quicker after their surgery but also the comfort they deserve.

According to the American Pet Products Association, there are more than 82.5 million pet owners, and this is expected to rise to 92 million by 2018. Even in uncertain economic times, the rate of spending on pets did not falter but continued to grow. The IBISWorld Industry Report shows that for 2008-2013, the pet industry grew 3.4 percent annually. That number is expected to reach and stay at 4 percent a year through 2018.

The total of pet industry expenditures for 2013 is estimated at $55.53 billion, up from $43.2 billion spent in 2008. More and more services – all-natural and organic foods, daycare, pet sitting, pet fashion accessories – are being provided to help pet owners take the best care of their animals. Over the next five years, the majority of new pet owners is expected to be a combination of single-person households and members of the aging population.

“Our network continues to grow with the addition of talented entrepreneurs such as ,”Stephanie Syberg” said Shawna Schuh, Certified Speaking Professional and President of WIPIN. “Each member brings a unique perspective and adds to our exchange of ideas, information and contacts. Our members hail from companies focused on everything from puppy products to wildlife sanctuaries. Ours is a network of movers and shakers across multiple fields within the pet industry. As members of WIPIN, women from all over the United States and Canada can connect as if they were at a business lunch,” added Schuh.
