A HOUSE RESOLUTION
TO CONGRATULATE THE HILTON HEAD PREPARATORY SCHOOL FOOTBALL TEAM OF BEAUFORT COUNTY ON ITS 2005 SOUTH CAROLINA INDEPENDENT SCHOOLS ASSOCIATION AA STATE CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE AND TO HONOR THE TEAM AND COACH RON PEDUZZI ON A TRULY EXCEPTIONAL SEASON.
Whereas, the Hilton Head Preparatory School Dolphins capped their extraordinary 2005 football season by becoming SCISA AA State Champions; and
Whereas, this win came only after countless hours of blood, sweat, and tears, with every team member working together to prove that Hilton Head Prep is a force with which to be reckoned; and
Whereas, the championship win and storybook 2005 season were possible only through the relentless hard work and dedication of the players, coaches, and trainers; and
Whereas, Head Coach Ron Peduzzi and Assistant Coaches Tim Griffin, Tom Haidon, Dave D’Amico, Steve Fry, Joyce Mungari, Peter Bergeron, Kenn Luthanen, Steve Fuller, and John Takacs showed an incredible amount of faith in their team, pushing its members to excel in ways many never thought possible; and
Whereas, the team was led by thirteen seniors, who finished their last season of high school football with great accomplishment. They were: Robert Mudano, Johnny Dowbiggin, Kuy Scott, Jeremiah Spires, Chuckie Scarminach, Randy Ferree, Niles Murphy, Deandre Morrow, Josh Wine, Adam Gardner, Chris Stuckart, Lawrence Freda, and Chris Schembra; and
Whereas, it is with great enthusiasm that the members of the House of Representatives esteem the Hilton Head Preparatory School Football Team and salute its players who serve as role models for what can be accomplished with great dedication, heart, and followthrough. Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the House of Representatives:
That the members of the House of Representatives of the State of South Carolina, by this resolution, congratulate the Hilton Head Preparatory School Football Team of Beaufort County on its 2005 South Carolina Independent Schools Association AA State Championship title and honor the team and Coach Ron Peduzzi on a truly exceptional season.
Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be presented to Coach Ron Peduzzi on behalf of the Hilton Head Preparatory School Championship Football Team.
