Motion: MOVED that Cordova Bay/Gordon Head are applying for formal membership in LISA. Subject to that
approval, Cordova Bay Soccer Club and Gordon Head Soccer Association will resign as members of LISA.
by Cordova Bay, 2nd Gorge. Tabled

The Cordova Bay President and Gordon Head Past President spoke to their Motion and previously circulated documents. Discussion points as follows:

Supporting the Motion:

-  Amalgamations are going to be inevitable in order to form viable teams.

-  Denial will cause the collapse of CBSC.

-  Support would allow for player retention and planning from year to year.

Against the Motion:

-  There is a decline in membership but there has to be a District wide review of boundaries, the proposal is a “band-aid” solution to a broader issue.

-  Geographically the two clubs are barely “neighbours” it would make sense to see a merger with other clubs.

Other:

-  Change and estimate boundaries consistent with school enrolment.

Motion: MOVED that there be a five (5) minute break. by CVSA, 2nd Gorge Carried

Motion: I MOVE to table this motion until a President’s meeting is convened and in the interim that Cordova Bay
and Gordon Head be permitted to function under the standing agreement until this is satisfactorily brought
to a conclusion . by CVSA, 2nd Gorge Carried
