DEMA’S 2008 BOARD OF DIRECTORS
ELECTS OFFICERS AND FORMS COMMITTEES

San Diego, CA – (March 10, 2008) – DEMA’s recently elected 2008 Board of Directors met for the first time in February and held elections for officers of the Board. The following Directors were elected as Board Officers:

“This year is a very important year for DEMA, with the launch of DEMA’s Be A Divernational advertising and customer acquisition campaign,” said Tom Ingram, Executive Director of DEMA. “I would like to express my gratitude to all 2007 Board Members who worked diligently on moving the campaign forward. We will certainly rely heavily on this year’s Board to keep up the momentumand continue to find ways to maximize the benefitsto our members and the industry.”

DEMA, the Diving Equipment & Marketing Association, is an international organization dedicated to the promotion and growth of the recreational scuba diving and snorkeling industry. With more than 1,600 members, this non-profit, global organization promotes scuba diving through many initiatives including consumer awareness programs, media campaigns and sponsorship of the DEMA Show, a trade event open only to companies doing business in the scuba diving, action water sports and adventure/dive travel industries.
