The Company
Air-tastic is Ireland’s newest Indoor Trampoline Park, this brand concept is the latest leisure venture by the owners of the Funky Monkeys indoor soft play concept. The trampoline park features interconnected trampolines, an obstacle course, foam pits, dodgeball, jump challenges, gladiator battle beams, a huge airbag and much more! Special play zones have been designed for younger bouncers so they can have the same fun in a safer environment. Air-tastic is a destination for the entire family- whether your 6 months or 60 years old, there’s something for everyone!Ultimately the goal is “To jump in and make Air-tastic a household name.”
The parks also offer fitness classes, birthday parties and corporate events making it the ultimate trampoline experience for both kids and adults alike. Not only will they have heaps of fun but they will get fit and active at the same time. When the excitement becomes too much they can treat themselves in the onsite cafe which offers a range of hot and cold refreshments.
The company currently have 2 parks one in Bangor, Northern Ireland and one in Cork, Republic of Ireland . This is a very exciting time for the Company as there will be considerable growth over the next number of years which along with a fantastically exciting role, it also presents potential future opportunities for the right candidate.
The Person
We are looking for a suitably experienced person to assume total responsibility of our PR,marketing and brand development needs for both the Air-tastic brand and 4 company owned Funky Monkeys centres.
Your role will be directly responsible to the Directors of the company.
You will be a strong minded individual with exceptional communication skills with the ability to implement and drive a business marketing strategy. You will need to demonstrate initiative and acceptance of accountability and be highly driven and focused.
The Role - Main responsibilities
- To co-ordinate the delivery of clearmarketing strategies.
- Develop the digital marketing strategy of the business as a key part of the overall strategy.
- Manage current and develop all significant areas ofsocial media.
- Maximise all areas of advertising via suitable mediums and manage a budget accordingly.
- Develop, manage and maintain strategic partnershipsand charity partnership with the emphasis on suitable awareness and means of additional revenue streams.
- Seek suitable PR opportunities for the brand as well as organising external promotional events.
- Develop a clear and consistentapproach to market research gaining industry knowledge through competitor analysis and understanding all environmental factors that impact the business.
- Devise a pre and post launch format for new parks, engaging the management of these parks and utilising the resources and marketability factors of each location.
- Manage all means of company communication including, social media, company website, literature etc, ensuring that all are current, relevant and brand focused.
- Generate monthly performance reports and evaluate trends for the purpose of highlightingareas for improvement and reporting constructive information back to relevant stakeholders.
- Attending relevant seminars, trade shows and events on behalf of the brand.
- Engage all relevant stakeholders with a clear platform for communication and feedback including newsletters and email marketing etc.
- Maintain our customers database of existing and potential customers, to create targeted marketing campaigns
Essential Criteria
Experience/Skills/Attributes
- 4+ Yearsexperience in a fast pace marketing environment.
- 3rd level qualification in a business/marketing discipline.
- Experience in social media for business and up to date knowledge of digital platforms.
- With planning and organising a key part of the role the ideal candidate needs to have excellent time management skills and self discipline to consistently deliver on timescales and other key deliverables.
- Previous involvement at strategic planning level and responsibility or involvement in making key decisions for its direction.
- Control or spend of marketing finance.
- Ability to work on own initiative and be able to demonstrate clear direction.
- Strong communication, organisation and Leadership skills.
- An approachable and enthusiastic manor and a can do attitude.
- Able to build and maintain strong and meaningful relationships and manage them effectively.
- Computer literate in MS Office Software.
- Have extremely high standards in work ethic and be fully flexible and prepared to take full accountability of the role.
- Have an eye for detail and a methodical approach.
- Be prepared to travel occasionally as part of the role.
- Full Driving License.
Desirable Criteria
- Previous experience of supervisory/management of other people.
- Business to business marketing and partnerships.
- Desire for continuous personal and professional development
Additional Information:
- The Company’s office is based in Rathfriland, Co.Down, however there is the option for the successful applicant to work in their own home office if desired. There will however be constant communication with the Directors and regular meetings. The right person will be supported fully and engaged as an important member of the team.
