For those chapters with derby pigs (weigh in date is April 12) or early county weigh in, tags will be mailed. For all other chapters, tags will be available for pick up at the Iowa FFA Leadership Conference at the Iowa State Fair booth. Any tags not picked up at the Leadership Conference will be mailed later that week.

TOTAL Ear Tags - market pigs, derby pigs, commercial gilts, registered breeding gilts, market/carcass lambs, commercial ewes, commercial yearling ewes and market meat goats

Nomination fee is $4 per animal.

Note: The derby tattoo will not be used this year.

DNA envelopes will be issued based on the number of ear tags requested.

DNA envelopes must be completely filled out - including all signatures.

The large DNA envelopes will not be used this year.

REMINDER: Students must be listed on the chapter roster with the Iowa FFA Association BEFORE they will be included in the chapter's online roster for State Fair nominations and entries. April 15 is the last day to add members to the chapter roster with the Iowa FFA Association for State Fair nominations. June 15 is the last day to add members to the chapter roster with the Iowa FFA Association for State Fair entries for those departments that do not require nominations. Members added after these dates are not guaranteed to be included in the State Fair online system. Members will be available in the State Fair online system about one week after they have been approved by Scott Johnson.
