Greetings High School Students and Families!!
Welcome to Mr. Long’s Foods I class!! Hopefully, you have had a long, adventurous, and enjoyable. My name is Rahmos Long, and I am glad I have the pleasure of teaching you this school year. I am looking forward to working with you and your child in reaching his or her full potential. We will have many wonderful experiences and opportunities to learn and grow in the days ahead.
My motto for this year is “Achievement in Every Field of Human Endeavor”. I am going to do everything in my power to help you become responsible members of your school and community. I will prepare you with the skills and knowledge you will need to be successful in the future as high school students and adults! It won’t be easy, though! I will need you to be respectful to parents, teachers, and your fellow classmates! I am going to challenge you and push you to your limits as students, but you will thank me when you walk into your first high school class next year.
Students are asked to bring the following supplies to class as soon as possible:
A Composition Notebook
1 or 2 1 inch 3 ring binder(s)
PENCILS ONLY
One box of facial tissue (optional, donated for class use)
One canister of Clorox Disinfecting Wipes (optional)
I believe that communication is the key to a great parent-student-teacher relationship. I encourage you to contact me if you have any questions or concerns at any time. You can send me a note, email me, or call me. I will also do my part by frequently sending out material to inform you of what is going on in the classroom, as well as with your child. For individual concerns, I will contact you by phone, send a note home, or email you.
