NOVEMBER 2017

LETTER FROM THE CHAIRMAN
Welcome to the November Newsletter. The daylight hours are becoming noticeably shorter and soon the walk lengths too. I would suggest that now would be a good time to rummage through your rucksacks and perform a quick health check on your kit. You should make a list and replace any damaged items, check the condition of your existing clothing and carry out some much needed re-proofing ready for the onset of winter. Additionally, take time to locate your torch, check the batteries and make sure that it is in good working order. As a new year is fast approaching some members have once again expressed an interest in purchasing a SWG 2018 Calendar in time for Christmas. I will be taking advance orders on walks as this helps reduce the overall cost (usually around £5-6) so please let me know by the end of November if you would like to order your SWG 2018 Calendar. Happy walking! Derek Harper, Chairman.
