Green buildings and sustainable business practices are fast becoming accepted, standard, and - in certain cases - mandatory. Many professionals in the real estate industry have taken the first giant step of involving themselves in the movement through the advanced industry training of NAR’s Green Designation. As the green industry continues to grow and flourish, there are certain NAR Green Designees performing exemplary acts that deserve special recognition. These outstanding NAR Green Designees and Instructors are selected each yearby an independent panel to receive theGreen REsource Council’s EverGreen Award at NAR’s Annual Convention. All active NAR Green Designees, certified GREEN Instructors, and Certified Course Providers are eligible to be nominated for this award.

Each award recipient receives:

  • Inclusion in an article in The REsource the GRC’s monthly eNewsletter
  • Presentation of their customized award and pin at a special Green REsource Council EverGreen Award reception at the REALTORS® Conference and Expo in November
  • A topic-specific press release regarding the national recognition
  • Consideration for association or media requests for green practitioners
  • Peer recognition
  • GreenREsourceCouncil.org Web site prominence
