Scottish Volleyball Association Awards

Three awards will be presented to individual members who have made a significant contribution to the growth and development of Scottish volleyball. The three broad areas for nomination to be made under are:-

Long Service Award

For someone who, over a period of many years, has given a high standard of service and extended commitment to the work of the Association.

The Association Award

For someone who has made a significant contribution to the process of teaching, coaching, officiating or administration within Scottish Volleyball.

Development Award

For someone who has increased the participation in and/or the quality of volleyball in a particular area.

The nomination process is open to all affiliated members. A special sub-group of the SVA Staff/Board will consider all nominations received and draw up a short list of candidates for the awards. Nominations for the above awards must be made using the form below.

All affiliated members are eligible to nominate candidates for any of the awards. Every nomination form however must be countersigned by a member of another affiliated club/school.

All nominations will be dealt with in confidence. Please remember that the overall emphasis which will be used in deciding who should receive the three awards will be upon significant contribution to the growth and development of volleyball in Scotland .

To be considered for the award, the nominee must be registered with the SVA in some capacity.
