Dear Mixed Hockey Friends,
Please be advised this is the Calling Notice for the MIXED SECTION AGM 2017.
AGM Date MONDAY 26th JUNE 2017.
Venue Nottingham Imperial Oddfellows Club and Institute,
89 Humberstone Gate, Leicester, LE1 1WL.
Time 7.30 pm START TIME.
TEAM: Please be reminded that attendance is mandatory. Failure to attend will incur a £30 penalty.
The EC ask everyone to be on time but respect that some people travel long distances, or for other reasons, may be late. Please do the best you can!
a) MR 2 a) - It is mandatory for EACH CLUB to send a representative to a Mixed Section AGM.
b) The AGM is the forum when you decide the 2017_2018 path of the Mixed Section.
c) Your views are essential if you want successful, sociable, enjoyable, safe and competitive hockey.
d) Young players, players, members, umpires, coaches and club officials will be welcomed.
e) CARE NEEDED - City Parking in Leicester is difficult and some areas are not friendly.
f) EASILY DONE - So do not leave items on display in your vehicle.
g) Only ‘Formally Written Proposals’ will be considered for listing on the Agenda.
h) Only ‘Formally Written Requests’ in ‘Items for Discussion’ will be considered as Agenda items.
i) ‘Nominations, Proposals, Items for Discussion’, must be received by Robert J Brooks, 51 Station Road, Ratby, Leicester, LE6 0JQ, by the due date of Friday 18th May 2017. See Date Diary!
j) The Date Diary shows the procedures and dates for all AGM and Mixed membership processes.
k) ½ ‘One Half’ of all Mixed Section Executive Committee Honorary Posts must be vacated annually and offered before the Mixed Section AGM for the election process – See MR 4 b).
l) List of Nominations, Proposals, Items’ for Discussion, to be circulated by Tuesday 30th MAY 2017. Administration Secretary may request the Mixed Section EC to consider accepting nominations in writing, after 30th May 2017.
A ‘Nominee’ must have agreed in writing to stand for election at the 2017 AGM.
NOTE: ‘Proposed by’ and ‘Seconded by’- the names and signatures must be clear.
m) The 2016 / 2017 Mixed Section Executive Committee list is published on Page 1 of the Mixed Section Handbook 2016 / 2017 & also on the web site www.leicestershirehockey.co.uk
n) Changes to the LRHA Constitution and LRHA Section Rules are not part of this AGM.
