Notice is hereby given by the Regional Planning Commission for Jefferson, Orleans, Plaquemines, St. Bernard and St. Tammany Parishes (RPC) that the proposed Transportation Improvement Programs (TIP) for fiscal years 2011 - 2014 for the urbanized areas of New Orleans and St. Tammany Parish are available for public review and comment beginning May 17, 2010 at the following locations and on our website at http://www.norpc.org

The TIP consists of a priority list of projects and project segments which are being advanced towards implementation over the next one to four years. Projects are consistent with the Metropolitan Transportation Plan for the region and include major roadway, transit and multimodal facilities. The projects are located in the parishes of Jefferson, Orleans, Plaquemines, St. Bernard, St. Charles, St. John and St. Tammany.

The RPC Transportation Policy Committee will receive comments from the public at its meeting on June 8, 2010. Meetings are held at the offices of the RPC at 12:30 p.m. Citizens may also provide us with their comments in writing by June 8, 2010 to:
