AMENDMENTS TO THE BIDDING DOCUMENTS
As discussed during the Pre-Bid Conference held on September 24, 2013, the Bids and Awards Committee hereby issues the following amendments:
Please note the amendments/additions in GCC Clause No. 17.3 under Section V. Special Conditions of Contract and Ombudsman Bid Form No. 1 (Technical Proposals) and Section VII. Technical Specifications which are underscored and highlighted as follows:
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS PER BIDDING DOCUMENTS / BE MODIFIED TO:SECTION V. SPECIAL CONDITIONS OF CONTRACT
GCC Clause 17.3 / Warranty is at least two (2) years on-site warranty on parts, labor and services including peripherals (remote control, hangers & support) after acceptance of delivered items by the Procuring Entity. / Warranty periods are as follows: 1. One (1) year on-site warranty on parts (except compressors), labor and services after acceptance by the Procuring Entity; and
2. Two (2) years on-site warranty on all compressors including labor and services after acceptance by the Procuring Entity.

ACTIVITIES / Installation and other related activities should be done on weekdays after office hours (5:00 PM to 9:00 PM) and on weekends (8:00 AM to 5:00 PM) / Installation and other related activities should be done on weekdays after office hours (from 5:00 p.m. onwards) and on weekends (8:00 AM to 5:00 PM)
VI. WARRANTY / At least two (2) years on-site warranty on parts, labor and services including peripherals (remote control, hangers and support) after acceptance of delivered items by the Procuring Entity / Warranty periods are as follows: 1. One (1) year on-site warranty on parts (except compressors), labor and services after acceptance by the Procuring Entity; and
2. Two (2) years on-site warranty on all compressors including labor and services after acceptance by the Procuring Entity.
All Bidders are reminded to use the attached Amended Ombudsman Bid Form No. 1 (Technical Proposals), in lieu of the bid form previously issued.

b) DTI Certification and Mayor’s Permit validating that the supplier is in the air-conditioning business and must be in the business for least five (5) years. / * Comply
c) Certification of dealership with installation of the product being offered. / * Comply
d) Products must be produced by reputable manufacturer as certified by the DTI-Bureau of Product Standards. / * Comply
III. COMPLETION OF DELIVERY / * Comply
a) Supply & installation of all air-conditioning units (indoor & outdoor units) shall not exceed forty five (45) calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed (NTP). / * Comply
b) The Office thru its authorized representative reserves the right to test and reject any failure of work by the contractor and to require the rectification of the same by the contractor at his own expense. / * Comply
c) Repair and restore to original condition any feature of the building damaged by works operation. / * Comply

d) Must coordinate with the Office of the Building Administrator and/or the General Services Division (GSD) prior to the scheduled activities for the issuance of access of the contractor’s equipment, tools, safety gears including its personnel to the Office of the Ombudsman building and its premises. / * Comply

f) The contractor shall implement a safety program for its workers assigned at the site. It is understood that no employer-employee relationship exists between the Office and the workers of the contractor. / * Comply
