Purpose and Use of Contracts:
C110080002 (Graybar Electric Company for GE brand), and C110080003 (City Lighting Products for Sylvania brand) are preferred use contracts established for state agencies to use for the purchase of a wide range of lighting supplies. State agencies are advised to check all contracts available (C112097001, C111207001, C111207002, and C111207003) to them for the purchase of these items and to choose the best product, best price, best delivery on the various contracts made available to them. All contracts are a “preferred use” contract which means that the contracts have been bid with the goal of providing good market pricing and product variety to state agencies. Agencies are encouraged to use preferred-use contracts but in rare instances where the state agency can obtain like or similar products that meet the state agency’s needs at a better price, then the agency has authority to purchase the items from other sources so long as the provisions of the Local Purchasing Authority Delegation are followed. The Delegation can be viewed and downloaded from the internet at this site: http://oa.mo.gov/purch/agencyinfo/deptpad.pdf.
Product Variety Available:
Graybar – Graybar will provide a complete line of lighting supplies for the GE brand. The GE products are described in their catalog and on their website at www.graybar.com. Graybar will be providing the State of Missouri with its standard product lines similar to what they provide to all companies they serve.
City Lighting – City Lighting will provide a complete line of lighting supplies for the Sylvania brand. The Sylvania products are described in their catalog and on their website at www.citylighting.com. City Lighting will be providing the State of Missouri with its standard product lines similar to what they provide to all companies they serve.
Delivery:
Graybar Delivery:
Standard delivery for in-stock items: One to Two Days Maximum ARO
Standard delivery for non-stock items: Approximately 14 days
Emergency delivery capability: Graybar has a national emergency response center. Simply call 1-800-Graybar and you will be connected to an emergency response operator. Graybar is allowed to charge the State of Missouri for any freight charges and, or special expediting charges incurred from emergency delivery.
City Lighting Delivery:
Standard delivery for in-stock items: One to Three Days Maximum ARO
Standard delivery for non-stock items: Three to Seven Days
Emergency delivery capability: City Lighting can drop ship from Sylvania or provide next day parcel service. City Lighting is allowed to charge the State of Missouri for any freight charges and, or special expediting charges incurred from emergency delivery.
Warranty:
Graybar, and City Lighting will provide the standard manufacturer’s warranty on all products provided through the State contract. If a product issue comes up before the standard warranty expires state agencies should contact the contractors for warranty support.
