Anna has recruited a new member (Hannah Martin) and some other people might be interested.
Could Hannah help run the email list of potential helpers?
Agenda
Fun Run
Next Fun run meeting is on Monday, Ruth Grimmer has said she will go, Anna will go as well.
The committee will want to know where we are with the planning.
We could help with Marshall recruitment, which is important although not as important as getting the stalls sorted out.
Can we man the WI cake stall?
Ross Barnes and Wendy could be available to help run a stall
Who else?
We’ll ask Class 3 and 4 to provide a plate of cakes
Jodie has said that Dave will do beat a goalie
Hannah and Roz could do face painting, temp tattoos and lucky dip
Becky might be able to help with Face Painting - Andrea can ask her
Hannah happy to ask around to get prizes for lucky dip.
Andrea might do the map game from the Durgan regatta and the tin can game
Dev will do the jars game - Anna to double check
Katie and Hannah (and Martha) might be able to do the lucky carrots game
Libby to do coffee and tea
Balance the coin on a lemon game
Mike to do the Chocolate Tombola - Donations of chocolate from Classes 1 & 2 - Borrow the tombola drum - Anna to ask for that
Andrea to ask if we can borrow the Durgan Regatta Gazebo, we’ll also have our own.
Stall owners to sort out prizes and let us know how much we owe them for the purchase of the prizes.
If we are able to get the Sumo suits and Bouncy Castle then we can get Ross to marshal the sumo.
Anna to contact Southwest entertainment for sumo and for them to operate the bouncy castle.
Village Fundraiser
Anna will get some info up on the Facebook pages for the village and the PTA
Barn Dance in Constantine, organised by Carla Ruberry there is not a date for this yet.
A venue has been identified
£5 per ticket including a pasty
Funds raised to be split between Constantine School, Mawnan School and MacMillan
PTA can send some committee members to help plan and to provide assistance.
Raze the Roof
Raze the Roof - Tuesday 27th September 2016 @6-8pm
We need to get tickets and sell them. £3
Had 81 kids last year so a good fund raiser.
Andrea will remind School Secretary to put raze the roof in the newsletter.
Finance
We have £6000 in the account
Have we saved the £2000 for this year? Libby to check with Adam
Play Equipment for the Playground
Ellen asked if we could fund some things for playing on the playground - we probably can.
Perhaps some moveable goal posts or other equipment
Adventure Playground
Libby will ask Ruth Rawley about quotes for replacing the wooden stage and wobbly bridge.
Screech Owl Sanctuary
Libby will also enquire about whether the Screech Owl Sanctuary want to come in.
Crazy Hair Day
Suggest a Crazy Hair day maybe in November or January when it is quiet.
Shopping Bags
Rather than tea towels can we do shopping bags with the children’s drawings on?
Christmas Cards
Also consider doing Christmas cards - Ellen to enquire about whether the staff want to do that.
AGM
We’re going to need a new Treasurer
Libby also wants to step down as a Chair
