I need to write 7-10 pages about The Trajectory of IdMS migration:From Proprietary identity to open identity exchange
the details as follows (more details will be provided later when you accept this task),
The phenomenon of interest in this study is managing online users’ identities on the Internet.A typical IdMS consists of three parts: user; service provider,(SP) and identity provide(IdP). These three parts characterize the relative openness of identity management systems. Using this three-part framework, we next analyze the relative openness of three generations of IdMS: proprietary identity, Web single sign on, and Web-based IdMS. The purpose of adopting an IdMS is to manage different identities with multiple web services. Toward this end, an IdMS adopter needs to establish a relation with IdP and SP in place.
proprietary identity e.g your online service account (e.g.email,facebook).
web single sign on e.g. use you account details (facebook) to acess different web services that has a relation ship with your servoce provider (e,g,facebook).
IdMS : new technology to manage different identities online e.g. Open id,U prove Infocards etc.
So the reauirements is :
1. describe and identify each of the three generations of IdMS .Providing their platforms, standards, examples.. Etc and how they differ each other and how they work on the web.
2.comparisons and some explanations and examples of these three generations in terms of some issues such as Identity standard

3.Why the adoption of web based IdMS is different than other IT and web services adoption that have been previously studied.
If you happy to do this paper based on the requirements ,please let me know
Regards,
You are right , but the examples that you provide are belong organization context. Please make sure that we focous on Individual level on non work setting (personal life) on the Internet.
Proprietary identity: you personal information stored in web service provider (e.g. Facebook account, online banking account, Email account etc).
Web single sign on (SSO): With this property a user logs in once and gains access to all systems without being prompted to log in again at each of them. For example, Liver person enable me to sign in using my Facebook account .
This study focuses on Web-based IdMS and defines IdMS as the business processes, polices and emerging technologies, for the creation, maintenance and use of online identities across the Internet and within online service providers. IdMS are services available on the Web that enable users to create and manage their online identity. In the offline world a person carries multiple forms of identification in her or his wallet, such as driver's licence, health insurance card, credit cards, affinity cards such as frequent flyer and loyalty cards. Similarly IdMS enable individuals to create a number of digital cards which they use to identify themselves with Web services that accept them. If a user subscribes to an identity management service, they can access web sites affiliated with the identity management service. The user can manage their identity information among various web sites in an integrated way through this service. Examples of IdMS include: Microsoft Passport, OpenID, InformationCard (CardSpace), Facebook Connect, OAuth, PayPal Access etc.
