Dear Parents / Guardians,
Welcome to the 2016-2017 school year. We hope your summer has been a healthy, safe and enjoyable one! We are happy to have your child in our class this year. Mr. Reinhold and I have been teaching together for the last four years and we look forward to a wonderful school year with your children.
Fifth grade is such a fun and important year for your children. In our classes, we utilize many different forms of technology and allow the students to explore and inquire more about what is being taught in class.
Below, please find the supplies your child will need. The supplies listed below includes both the 5th Grade General Supply List AND our specific classroom supplies. Kindly bring all of the supplies to school on the first day so we can begin organizing together. We look forward to meeting you on Back to School Night. · 5 subject notebook with perforated edges
· A 3 ring binder (2 inches)
· 4 dividers with tabs
· 2 packages of lined paper
· ACCORDION FOLDER: With at least 7 pockets/sections (we will organize this in school)
· Pencil case: 1-small soft case with zipper
· Sharpened pencils: one box of 12
· GREEN or RED pens: 1 box of 12
· BLUE or BLACK pens: 1 box of 12
· Crayons or colored pencils (Small pack with at least 12)
· Scissors
· Index cards 3X5: 1 package (100 plus)
· Textbook covers/Book Sox: 5 - Jumbo Size (not adhesive)
· Tissues: 2 large boxes
· Lysol Wipe: 1 container
· 8oz. Hand Sanitizer: 1 per student
· POST-IT NOTES: 3 x 3 size
· Glue stick
