To involve students interactively and kinaesthetically in learning about English Grammar

First lesson: Clarifying the use of the Present Continuous
Second lesson: Using Questions: Changing the order of the verb when asking questions
Third lesson: Using Articles
Fourth lesson: Looking, listening and interpreting videos to expand vocabulary.
Fifth lesson: Using social interaction – using emoticons to learn about responses
Sixth lesson: Recap and reinforcing learning.
Expected outcomes and products
Lesson plans for teaching 6 English Grammar lessons using flip chart; drop and drag; interactive dice; screen shade; fridge magnets; linked video; timeline and visual functions of the Interactive Whiteboard.

Associated notebook file saved following delivery of lessons. / Providing kinaesthetic interaction by having learners use the drop and drag function for an exercise. This will help learners to remember the context for using present continuous tense.
Presenting scattered words to learners using the IWB, and ask learners to drag the verb into the correct place. Teamwork using the timer functions.
A fun activity to promote correct use of articles, using the interactive keyword dice. Group interactive activity.
Revealing words using the screen shade. Using fridge magnets for a vocabulary recall exercise. Linked video clip to illustrate how words are used in different contexts.
Exploring non-verbal expression using the timeline function and emoticons.
Reviewing saved notebook files.
